Innovation and gaming. Online und Leipzig. Convention and business.
A new platform for an industry all of its own: GAMES CONVENTION ONLINE
31 July – 2 August 2009, Leipzig
The gaming industry’s online and mobile developers are attracting more and more curious users, adventurers, explorers, heroes, adrenalin junkies and roleplayers into their virtual game worlds, encouraging everyone worldwide to join in.
11.5 million people already live in the legendary universe of World of Warcraft. And they’re not alone. In the course of one month, more than ten million German surfers are out and about on the online gaming sites. Online – that is the logical next step in the continuing development of the entertainment market.
Because this quite simply opens up a huge variety of possibilities and challenges.
Always different, always exciting - and doing it together.
GAMES CONVENTION ONLINE sets up a new platform for this, one that picks up on the interest in and passion for online gaming and is a meeting place for business, as well as the world’s biggest playground for gamers.
